Bose Is the Boss — A Voice from Odisha
In the 21st century, a man (Our Founder) from the same soil where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born and brought up, Odisha (Cuttack), dares to fulfill Netaji Bose’s inclusive ideas and ideology, which remain incomplete even after eighty years of independence. As India approaches 80 years of independence, this voice, originating from the same soil of Odisha (Berhampur, Ganjam), which is also his birthplace and where he was brought up, is expressed through the creation of the “Swatantra Congress Party.”
The party stands for an India where every community lives together in harmony, where governance is transparent and accountable, and where democratic institutions are strengthened. It seeks to offer citizens a meaningful alternative to conventional political thinking. The word “Swatantra”, meaning independent or free, reflects the party’s commitment to breaking away from established political patterns and encouraging fresh ideas for the nation.
The party was founded by Vijay Krishna Rao, a prominent trade union leader. He founded the Maharashtra State Tour and Travels Bus Owners, Operators and Agents Workers Association, serves as Secretary of the Rashtrabadi Congress Party Labour Cell, Maharashtra State, and remains actively involved with the Maharashtra Rajya Mathadi Transport and General Kamgar Union (Registered).
The Swatantra Congress Party is currently in the early stages of its development. Our Application for Registration of the political party "Swatantra Congress Party" u/s 29A of the Representation of the people Act 1951, We Submitted all the required relevant documents on 2nd June 2025 and completed all formalities on April 2026 at the Election Commission of India, New Delhi. The registration process is currently underway, and the party is awaiting official registration. The party belives that worlds best and most trusted institution the E.C.I completes the formalities within the time bound and open doors for the Indian voters. A new era of voting rights in new India and register the party as soon as possible for A Better Bharat, "Mera Bharat Mahan"

Vijay Krishna Rao, Founder and President of the Swatantra Congress Party, is a prominent trade union leader from Maharashtra with extensive experience in labour and workers’ organisations. He founded the Maharashtra State Tour & Travels Bus Owners, Operators and Agents Workers Association, serves as Secretary of the Rashtrabadi Congress Party Labour Cell, Maharashtra State, and is actively associated with the Maharashtra Rajya Mathadi Transport and General Kamgar Union.

Organisation Growth
Registration formalities were filed with the Election Commission of India, the core leadership council was formed, and grassroots volunteers began organising on the ground.
